History:
When Salro was young, he noticed that (he thought this was true) he had to act accordingly to match others. He was pretty good at it; acting. He quickly became friends with others easily and smoothly. He knew what to say and to do to become friends with another person. He didn't ever think that this was a problem. His best and closest friend, Blaze (A Cyndaquil at the time) was always with him as well.*2
One day, in early middle school, he ended up becoming friends with these bad kids (he doesn't even remember how he became friends with these guys). They were playing around this ocean cliff, tossing and kicking off rocks to the ocean. One of the boys dared Salro to jump off the cliff. In the back of his mind, Salro knew that was a bad idea. But his acting took over very quickly and he took the dare. Blaze, now being a Quilava, jumped in after him. The two of them feel a long ways down to the ocean, where Salro almost drowned.
Awhile later, Salro woke up on the seashore, opening his eyes to a Sylveon on his chest. She told him what happened, how he almost drowned and how she saved him by fusing his soul with  sliver of Arceus' power. She told him that his core was his special ring that he wears everyday: a ring given to him from his father who found it on one of his exhibitions one day in the Hoenn region. The Sylveon also told Salro that his partner evolved trying to save him. So, she allowed the fusion between Blaze and Salro happen after Blaze evolved. Salro was overjoyed that Blaze evolved and was okay, but was mad at himself for doing such a stupid stunt.
Just before he was to begin high school, he received a letter from Serebii Academy, stating that he was to enroll into the school on behalf of his father's recommendation. Apperently, Salro's father had a core as well and went to that school when he was Salro's age. Being excited that he was to follow his father's footsteps (Salro doesn't see his father very much, but admires him for what he does and wants to become an Archaeologist like his father), he decides to go to school there.

Personality:
Salro is very nice and friendly. Sometimes, he can be shy as well. He finds that he can become friends with Pokemon easier than humans. He loves to act, especially on stage. He does tend to act when off-stage without knowing, though. He's gotten more of a rein on it since the 'cliff incident', but he still has to work out the kinks in his old, terrible habit.

The mini scarf on his arm was another gift from his father when he went to Kalos. It was cheap and the both of them liked it.
Salro's parents found Blaze's egg in the middle of Ilex forest. There didn't seem to be any parents around, so they took it into their care.

History:
Hatched by Salro's parents as an egg, Blaze had been with Salro sine they were babies. They were like close brothers; they are never apart. Blaze quickly picked up Salro's acting habits and sometimes mimics his human partner (Blaze likes to mimic more than act).
When Salro took the dare at the cliff and ran off, Blaze immediately followed after, even know Blaze can't swim. Struggling to bring Salro above water, Blaze evolved into a Typhlosion. But, even the evolution wasn't enough to help the two out, as a Sylveon came along and helped the two out. 
Now, Blaze is following Salro around even closer than before, afraid that something like that may happen again.

Personality: 
Blaze is very loving and has lots of spunk to him. He is very hyper and active and is always on his toes. But, if you're someone he doesn't trust, he'll act all tough and get in your face, almost like he's saying, 'Back off, punk!'. Loves to mimic Salro (and even others if he likes what you're doing).

Very mischievous and sly. Likes to act different to every person he meets. He acts almost bi-polar, but it's just him acting. Almost like he wears different masks. Loves to trick others, but isn't mean.

*1 By the way, I know that legendaries can't be involved, and they're not. Just forewarning, I chose the symbol because I liked it. He is not connected at all to the Hoenn legendaries. At all.
